Is the forum just dead, or is this the lowest interest level leading into the season since the 05-06 season? 

It's opening day. Who is going to start? What are the expectations for this season? Can this team bring the fans back?

This is a good team from top to bottom.  The most talented team on paper we have had in some time.  The problem with this team is height.  We have none that will be in the rotation. 

If they can handle the lack of height.  And play a little defense, this team can easily win 20.

OK. You want an un-educated opinion on this years team. After seeing two scrimmages in person and reading everything I could find; here it goes:  offensively this team is a spitting image of last year only FASTER. They will turn the ball over a lot and from what I've seen, they will miss A LOT of shots from behind the arc and around the rim. Sound a lot like last year so far?? They have NO big man who can control the boards and block shots; would not surprise me if Neely turns out as the top or perhaps #2 rebound leader. They will thus score a ton, just by their speed and non stop attack. They will give-up a ton by being too fast any making to many TO's and by not shooting particularly well and not rebounding enough offensively. 

So the question is can or will they play some/any better defense than last year. I have NO opinion at this point. If they do they will improve in the standings, if not 6,7,8 seed my prediction.

As for who is starting??  It really does NOT matter.  IMHO pretty much 1-9, maybe even 10-11 carbon copies of each other. I guess find a couple or three, who can play some D; and they can be the starters or more importantly the FINISHERS.

OK guys I stuck my neck out--ALL other predictions, opinions, contradictions, etc WELCOMED! 😉

I'm gonna wait and see...DK is worse then GG. Hopefully this team will be competitive and not a joke. Will be watching for defensive effort tonight. If they again play no defense...season is over.

What an awful construction of a team...can't shoot, can't rebound, they play 100mph with zero basketball IQ. Gonna be a very long year ...

Dwayne Killings absolutely can't coach ...as D96 said to me...he thinks he's coaching an AAU team. Ugly ...

Four years in and it’s the same $iena.  Zero defense, not a rebounder in sight, and a bunch of awkward athleticism that runs around like a chicken with its head cut off.  Zero plays, zero game plan.   It’s a Binging joke.  It’s an AAU team.   Again.

the starting lineup was a joke.  
 

Benson has some of the worst hiring practices I’ve ever seen.  He literally keeps both of our “premier” sports  (should be premier) employed with charlatans.

Why the Bing do our players have a green light in a 1 v 4 situation.  Brown would have hooked that player.   Only certain players should have 💯 green lights.   Those who can actually shoot the ball.
