From what I understand the presale does not include students or most the UVM fans. Some local UVM fans(CBA people) may have pre purchased tickets.

 

I'm very conservative so I'm hoping 2500+ and wishing for 3500+.

 

What we need is to see the RACC Rowdies continue to grow. They are the single most important group because they bring a true college fun atmosphere to the games.

You are being intentionally conservative with your estimates. Good, safe way to proceed.

 

If between 1600 and 1800 Albany area non-students are coming as of now, and 700 additional Vermonters make the trip, we should be able to attract a considerable number of students.

 

This game is not on a weekend when many students go home, so I am looking for a sizeable crowd on their part. I think it is very reasonable to believe that we can exceed the number of attendees present for this year's BPG. I would like to see the attendance surpass the all-time RACC record tomorrow.

I was over at the RACC a couple hours ago and they said they are still getting constant calls for tix to the game tomorrow. They said there's been a lot of Vermonters asking if there will still be tix if they come down tomorrow.

 

I'm sure Rodger's sources are 100x more solid than mine. but for the past week they've told me that pre-game sales are comprable to the BPG, which I believe was at 2,400..so I'm thinking 2,000 presale is a reasonable estimate.

 

We started up a RACC Rowdies email list (about 25-30 signed up on Saturday in the mayhem of passing out t-shirts..lol) reminding them of the game and telling them to bring friends. We still have some RACC Rowdies t's that we held in reserve to get people at this game. Should be a good one!!

 

BTW, I like the new Pomeroy predicition and more importantly the respect!

Is this game being hyped too much? I don't think so. It would be a great opportunity for UAlbany. If we can control shots from behind the arc and not be intimidated with our offense, I think we stand a chance.
