Your absolutely right about the recruiting and I sure hope that people are patient with Coach Patterson.

Right now as crazy as it sounds the players all must make major adjustments with the return of Hutch as everyone's role has changed.

So much for the theory, you still have to perform on the court - oldtimer

Male - Female it makes no difference no one really knows what they're getting until the DI games are played.

Happy Holidays

"I thought Warner was short-changed by not being given 4 years to show improvement and I hope we do not make that same mistake with Patterson."

The only thing I would again say to that is she was here for a lot longer than four years, and Binghamton didn't come in and stink up the D-I level. They too came in from D-II, yet their recruiting immediately stepped up to bat. Her teams didn't seem to be improving at all in her final couple of years, even if the talent she brought in was improving.

I even consulted the electronic abacus, and it said that her wins and losses didn't reflect the improving talent. (And although some other people ignored it, my abacus told me that she had just as many misses as she did hits during that time).

I have attendedc most of the women's home games for 3 years. Coach Patterson has definitely done a good job with the team. The recruiting will have ups and downs regardless of your ability to recruit. Hopefully we'll have more successes than failures. I have faith in both programs. Time to head for U Mass. Happy Holidays.
