I personally don't think SEFCU Arena is that "big of a mouth full".  2 syllables in SEFCU, same as Pepsi.  I don't think it needs a nickname.  As far as SEFCU being local, it's all over NYS.

Its shorter than Citizens Bank Arena or the Times Union Arena.

 

SEFCU Arena sounds pretty good to me...and I do like "The Cue" as a nickname.

I was worried because I hadn't received my tix for season yet - but got them today and noticed that they were printed with SEFCU ARENA on them :D

 

D-96 - I heard Murphy on his show then read this message string - he definitely ripped you off.
