UAlbany vs. UVM

Recommended Posts

Just realized I'll be able to go up for the weekend.

Does anyone have an update on the ticket status for the game?

Go Danes!

If sold out...let me know...I may have an extra.

I ended up calling them and getting a couple.

Thanks though Dane96

Hope to see you all there!

Haven't been to the SEFCU Yet (The only games i saw in person this year were at storrs and the TUC)

Should be a great game..

From the Times Union this afternoon:

UAlbany-Vermont sold out

February 9, 2007 at 3:42 pm by Mark Singelais

The UAlbany-Vermont showdown for first place in the America East Conference on Sunday became a sellout today at 1 p.m. The SEFCU Arena capacity is 4,538.

All general sales tickets have been sold, and 1,000 tickets have been reserved for UAlbany students, who will receive them beginning Sunday at 1 p.m. on a first-come, first-serve basis at the SEFCU Arena main entrance.

All student ticket holders will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of SEFCU and R.C. Fuller. This is the third home sellout of the season and the fifth in UAlbany’s Division I history.

Let's all get our purple on tomorrow. Rest those vocal chords for the biggest regualr season game of the season!!

If I wear my purple, will you throw a candy bar or a beer to me?

I'll give you a beer ticket at the VC pregame party. If the admin. lets me throw candy, I'll look for you.

Coach Brown was very very very mad about the FT. He held back big time. 31-3 leading to 21-1 point wise for Vermont. I quote, "I hope we get to go to Burlington and take 31 shots"

No, a Vermont meltdown in Boston would be far better seeing that it would take care of it for us :)

Vermont hosting the title game is absolutely not a gimme. They will most likely have Binghamton (a very very dangerous and talented #8 seed), and then they will probably have Maine after that (the one team that beat them this year in the Conference). Maine is quick and big, and I think they match up well against Vermont. It is very possible that we could wind up hosting the title game again. Let's just worry about having to play the dangerous Hartford or UNH teams (unless we play UMBC first round) first round and then B.U. (probably) second round. And if we get past those two, let's take it to the Catamounts in Burlington, if VMT makes it that far!
