I'd ask for 60 million for the multi purpose athletic facility.

Maybe I wouldn't label it a football stadium specifically.

And it would be placed on the very top of the University request list, as number 1 priority.

I think whatever the price tag attached, it will be accepted or rejected on the funding purpose alone... and at which position it resides at on the priority list.

 

UAlbany should be needing to submit its budget request very soon, as SUNY needs to submit its budget to the governor by early December.

 

Anyone know if the University has already submitted its budget request to SUNY?

To be totally honest, I wouldn't have any idea of what amount to request .... I'd need to know, what the Big Wigs in the AD and the University Administration know, before jotting down an amount.

I tend to agree. I think it's going to be approved or denied on its face. The specific dollar amount probably doesn't matter. If the economy is so terrible they'll reject everything. If this isn't the Great Depression or the Armageddon then I think they may approve the #1 project.

 

Still, I would play it cautious and follow D96 and ask for a modest request ($25M). If for nothing else, a lower number will give us some cover when the TU attacks us for asking.
