Wow, that they ended up with this win. Very lucky to pull that out.

That's not the way to play a complete game against these types of teams.

30 minutes of really good play (great intensity, aggression, and pressure), and 10 minutes of nothing.

Can't have those mind lapses in this level of competition.

That's two games in a row, that we've slipped back into a shell, and let teams come right back into the game.

Can't play to the other team's level of ability. UAlbany should have won by 35 +

Gotta play like we're playing Duke every game.

With that said, it's only the 4th game, and there's alot of potential with this team.

Good to have avoided a monumental collapse.

We were up by double digits for most of the game. Last 10 minutes of the second half we fell asleep and CCSU took the lead. Will Harris missed a layup with under a minute to go which would have tied the game. CCSU hit their free throws, and then Timmy had a 3 point play to cut the lead to one. We then forced a TO off the inbound pass and timmy laid it in for the W. Phenomenal ending.

Some Thoughts:

Ambrose was unstoppable tonight. The kid played out of his mind. I don't have a box score so I don't know how many he scored but it seemed like he was our entire offense towards the end of the game.

Will Harris showed a lot of potential tonight. He dominated the first half with 13 points and 7 boards in the first frame. He is big, athletic, can post up and shoot from outside. He will be a nightmare in this conference.

Thanks how was the crowd? Was it even close to a sell out?

Im still in the buildin and im still shaking. One of if not the best win ive ever seen. Wooooooooooow. Timmy is a stud.

I was thinking quite the opposite..game got very ugly..we played great ball for about the first 30 minutes and the last 30 seconds..Ambrose got to the hoop at will, especially the last few minutes to keep us in the game with his offense..exciting ending while forcing CCSU in to two turnovers in the last 15 seconds..always nice to be on the good side of a close finish like that.

Exciting start to the home season....hopefully this type of game can be a real strong and positive lesson for these youngsters...the overall athleticism of this group is impressive...once they learn how to play with each other they will be a very strong club in the A-E...don't know the exact crowd size but very respectable for a cold Saturday night...great turnout by the students!!!
