Bryant released today. We have them at home 10/17.

So far confirmed games are:

9/5 @ Georgia Southern

9/12 vs. UMass

...

10/17 vs. Bryant

10/24 @ Monmouth

Which means we'll more than likely see a bye week either on 9/19 or 9/26 which is good. Right before league play starts.

OK, latest FCS news:

Maine is now scheduled to play at Syracuse on 9/26. They still have one OOC game open.

Delaware now has an opening on 9/19 as their scheduled opponent (Furman) backed out to play Missouri instead.

I'd love some pay back after the attrocious showing we had there last year, but Delaware isn't travelling anywhere and I'd rather have a home game.

And why isn't the Big South a viable option for Albany?

Check out the FBS games Big South members have scheduled next year:

Garnder Webb: NC State, Buffalo

Charleston Southern: UF, South Florida

Coastal Carolina: Kent State, Clemson

Liberty: West Virginia

VMI: Army

We have Bryant.

Who here says we get the schedule together based on our opponents releasing their schedules faster than UA releasing it?

Hell, we are almost half way there.

Nothing from the school regarding the stadium. Nothing from the school regarding a plan for the future of football. You'd at least think they could throw us a bone and get the schedule out relatively quickly.

A guy from AGS does that:

schedules.travisliles.com

He's having logo issues, but the NEC link is on the second row. He has all schedules for FCS.

NEC link - CCSU hasn't been added yet

Travis has too many different links going on over there.

Here is an NEC link that includes Central:

http://schedules.travisliles.com/2009/northeast.html

ya... i tried to keep the main link schedules.travisliles.com when I switched them around earlier this week. However the images are all messed up on the menu part. I am working to address that. If you use the travisliles.com/schedules/2009/northeast.html the logos all show up fine.

Well not looking good for a decent 4th OOC game. Delaware has now signed to play Delaware State and the Maine coach has indicated that we aren't on their schedule this year either.

That leaves a couple of Big South teams and the PFL (Marist perhaps) to play. Neither of which will count for the conditional AQ next year.

Indiana State Oct 10 & Nov 21

Sacramento State Sep 19

Morgan State Sep 26

North Dakota State Nov 7

Looks like the only four teams from auto bid leagues that have openings that fit Albanys openings.

Indiana State would be a good one. They are horrendous (0-12 last year) and would likely travel to us. Either way its a high potential win against an AQ conference opponent.

Morgan State is also an AQ league team that gives us a good chance to win.

Sac State isn't coming to Albany and NDSU isn't either.
