Simpson has really mastered the art of NYS politics, IMO - use UB as a "guinea pig" to test a theory that is guaranteed to be 10000000000% better than the current setup.

What kills me is there are no response from UA or the other SUNY Centers. The TU article doesn't even bother to ask, why not UA? Why not the other SUNY Centers? Maybe the 4 centers should do this as a group?

 

If this is such a great idea, why doesn't UA also do this?

I wonder what incoming Chancellor Zimpher thinks of UB's go-it-alone approach? Could they (UB) want to get this deal sealed with the nys legislature before she takes the helm?
