hartford, now with a record of ( 1-3 AE, 2-10 overall) just upset umbc 10-8.

With a UAlbany win tomorrow over vermont, we'll be tied for 1st with umbc in conference

standings. (although umbc will take the tie breaker with its win over us). We still have a

chance for a #1 seed!

Anyways, I heard, and I hadn't known before, that UAlbany has 12 scholarships.

Is that a division I maximum, or an America East thing, or what? I assume its a

NCAA DI max.

Also, it was mentioned that UAlbany has 28 freshman and sophmores on the team.

Very young.

The NCAA limit for men's lacrosse is 12.6 equivalencies. Virtually everyone splits these up into 30 or more partials. The MAAC was previously non-scholarship but is now increasing the limit each year and will be fully funded by 2012.
