In all the confusion I can't remember if we're going to bring in two recruits or three for next year. I suspect they'll announce them all together although it would be fun if we could find out ahead of time.

Rivals shows that David Wiegmann 6'7" committed today to UA.

Even with Bruxvoort red-shirting/non-scholly this coming season..that's 14 players when we have 13 scholarships to give out. So is the 'second recruit' really Wiegmann..is one of the incomers a walk-on..will Iati be without a scholarship since he 'left' and then 'returned'..is someone leaving that hasn't been announced (would seem unlikely being this late)..or is there something else we're missing?

Looking at years past...this staff has always been creative with scholarships.

The first stats posted were from his freshman year. Here's last years. Good news is that he seems to get to the free throw line a lot.

 

Rivals lists him as a small forward. I'd think at 6'8 and a three point shooter that he's a prototype Will Brown power forward unless unknown recruit is a big. Glad to get more front court depth either way.

Looks like you were right: Gary Johnson was the second recruit.
