Recruiting - 2013

Recommended Posts

With Page's transfer..I believe that makes two scholarships still available going into 2013. I'd think potential needs could be a scorer..a three-point specialist..and a four-year big man.

I agree...wouldn't mind if both kids were 4 year kids.

This.

Unless we can get Cleanthony Early or Carl Hall types! I like four year players also but Wichita State is making me like Juco players. I think they have five or six on their roster.

yeah, and then what? ;) By my count we will have 5 seniors and 4 juniors next year (with Gibson and Wiegmann, who may transfer). Need to start loading up with some younger players.

tu/Brown confirmed Page transferring. With the loss of Iati, Black and Guerrier that is a lot of better than average three point shooting. I would have thought Page would have had an "opportunity" to fill that void somewhat? What do you think? and Who do you think will fill it up from the outside next year for us. Obviously it is early and recruits still possible, but someone in-house (Page) might have been a good option. Thoughts and opinions??

I wonder if we would look at a guy like Vertrail Vaughns. He's a fifth-year senior guard looking to transfer from George Mason. His situation is similar to Logan Aronhalt or Trey Blue from Vermont, he wouldn't have to sit out a year and might give us a lift in the backcourt.

From Coach Brown's twitter..regarding Thursday's visit: "Think our visit went very well. 6'4/6'5 perimeter player who can play the 1,2, and 3. That is a big pg. Has BCS experience."

So I'm thinking that has to be a direct BCS transfer..or a BCS freshman to JUCO..right?
