Nice outing for Senior Kasceim Graham.....the defense played error free baseball and the walks were kept to a minimum.....all of that equals a good win!

 

Derek Zelinski going for the Danes today. I have seen him pitch twice this season and I think the team will breakthrough and get him a win today. He has great stuff!

The Maine-Albany baseball series this weekend has been flipped with the May 4 series.

I hear that the University President is very pro-athletics. Maybe he can do something that has yet to be accomplished at UA....he can build a baseball / softball commensurate of a division 1 schoool that is on the rise. While the weather in the northeast has been particualrly harsh the last few months, we should have a facility that can deal with the weather. If Bingo, Stony, Hartford and Maine can accomodate home games at this time of the year, why shouldn't we? Plus, the boys have been on the road since the second week of February.....not very condusive to getting quality practice time or stuff done for the academic side!

That is disappointing. With the travel I had done recently and with the weather supposed to be in the 50's I was ready for some home games.

Now I will see 1 of the other teams. As far as I know all the other college baseball teams in the area(d2 and d3) have games this weekend that are still on.

No my pull was used up last weekend to get baseball, and both basketball games all within 2 hours distance of each other

Got the 3rd game of the series today as well 4-3.

Also, softball swept Maine today, and men's lax pulled away from Hartford 24-11.

 

Huge crowd at Fallon Field, in spite of wind and blowing sand from the construction.
