I'm sure there are ways to improve the economics of it. I mean, this is America..."Land of the free, home of the brave (and loopholes)". As for the brand, that can always be fixed too. Especially when a NY flagship university takes it over.

I find it pretty interesting that when the Nano College was tied to UA, it seemed to get lots of national recognition and praise...even a visit from a sitting president. Ever since the split, I haven't heard so much of a peep about them and now it's embroiled in scandal. Ironic, considering that the Nano College was pulled away from UAlbany because its leader thought it we were holding them back.

You know, what we are learning about Nano now (not that Kalaryos was shady...but the rest) is why people shouldn't jump to conclusions when stories come out. We bashed Jones for sitting on his hands. While I am sure that he had little say in this deal (Cuomo's surrogates likely pressured UA and SUNY)...I would have to believe that Jones' and team did its due diligence and realized there were more important battles to fight than this dumpster fire.

Truth is...the Nano school is going to take a massive hit because of the finances and the optics behind Kaleyros and co.'s shady dealings.

$475 million? Meh, that's only 1/3 of what Mr. Trump lost in 1995 (adjusted for inflation of course). They can just write it off their taxes for the next 20 years. #MAGA
