So it's possible that there's a 16 vs. 1 in Buffalo? Probably only likely if Michigan or Nova grab a 1 seed..since they try to keep 1 seeds close to home.

yes. 1's could be at any of the 8 sites and they usually try to keep the 1's close to home even more than the 2,3 or 4's

CBS sports has us in the PIG vs. Mount St. Mary's, then on to St. Louis vs. Wichita St.

MsGDG, this is all speculation until the official announcement, though their #1 seeds are probably set. Everybody's guessing, especially Lunardi about placement of the lowest ten conferences.

I know they are all guesses now :) , I meant the locations. Are the seed locations set or do those change around as well?

\

No the only location set is Dayton for the PIG.

The other 8 locations get 2 "pods".

A pod being a 4 team grouping 1-16 w 8-9, a 2-15 w 7-10 , a 3-14 2 6-11 or a 4-13 w 5/12

1 "principle" is they try to keep the 1 to 4's close to home.

Thanks Bob!!

Getting a lot of publicity on national tv. Even showed the mascot fight. Commented that they hope we get new UNIS before tourney.

We've said it since the beginning of the year that those jersey/shorts combo is atrocious lol. But who cares, as we are dancing again!

If we get a PIG game we're playing Tuesday or Wednesday. But if we get a solid #16 or #15 we play Thursday or Friday. Here is how ESPN has the locations/dates figured out.

PIG March 18-19

UD Arena (Dayton, Ohio)

Thursday March 20

First Niagara Center (Buffalo, N.Y.)

BMO Harris Bradley Center (Milwaukee)

Amway Center (Orlando, Fla.)

Veterans Memorial Arena (Spokane, Wash.)

Friday March 21

PNC Arena (Raleigh, N.C.)

AT&T Center (San Antonio)

Viejas Arena (San Diego)

Scottrade Center (St. Louis)

GDG just pointed out that Weber and Woffard played multiple D2 games this year.

So Albany actually has the best record out of the three of us against D1 teams with 18 wins.

Weber is currently projected as a 15 seed with 17 D1 wins and 2 non-D1 and Woffard has 3 wins against non-D1 teams.

Weber also has no Top RPI 150 wins and UA has 2. Might be a case for a possible 15 seed...which would be amazing.
