BTW I was watching the telecast, and in the third quarter Patsos was in the booth and jokingly (I hope) took credit for inspiring the 'aints' second goal. Too bad he wasn't asked a few minutes later i

"Albany is currently FIFTH in the country in average attendance...." Hmmm, shouldn't all of our lacrosse games against LLC be at Fallon Field since our ave. attendance is 2,446 and theirs is only 479

Connor Fields Earns Third America East Rookie of the Week Honor

He has won 3 of the 7 awards so far, no one else has more than 1.

For the second-straight week and third time this season, Connor Fields was selected as America East men’s lacrosse Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday.

In total, UAlbany has six weekly awards this year, including three Player and three Rookie of the Week honors. All three rookie honors for UAlbany have been won by Fields.

Fields helped the UAlbany offense to a couple of lopsided victories this week including a 26-6 victory at Canisius and a 24-6 home win over Hartford for to start 2-0 in conference play.

Fields went back to his native Buffalo and scored four goals and two assists against Canisius, following up with a career-high seven points off five goals and two assists vs. Hartford, adding seven ground balls.

Currently, the freshman attack leads the team in goals with 20, adding nine assists and 20 ground balls.

Fields and the Great Danes take on Harvard on Wednesday, March 25th at 7 p.m. in Cambridge.

Dan Barnes

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of Dan Barnes, Great Danes Class of 2007.
Dan was an integral part of the UAlbany men's lacrosse and football teams.
He was a fierce competitor - intelligent and passionate, bringing positive energy to everything he did.
He was also one of the most genuine people you'd ever meet.
On behalf of the UAlbany family, our sincerest condolences go out to his family.
