Big difference today was Cason Liles 20-33 on faceoffs (last SBU game Connor Russell was 18-36).

 

Perfect on clears, won ground balls 35-23, and the goalies had just one fewer save than SBU even though facing only half as many chances. Only weak spot was 17 turnovers (nine on Lyle).

 

Listed attendance of 2,146 seems low, the bottom deck felt completely full, unless there weren't many on the upper deck. Of course a 10 a.m. start isn't attractive to college students.

Question... Fairfield is in the MAAC for all sports except for lacrosse, which is the CAA. How is that possible? The MAAC sponsors lacrosse.

 

Could UA be that 6th ACC lacrosse school lol.

Fairfield was a long-time full-scholarship lax team. When the MAAC began sponsoring lax they began as non-scholly, so FU was allowed to maintain their level of play in another league. Over the last few years the MAAC increased aid to full, so now it's a question if they'll allow FU to stay apart.

I know this sounds stupid, but if I were Albany, I'd hold him from interviews to spite the comittee and NCAA.
