I know crying will do no good, but as Leslie Gore sang "Its My Party and I'll Cry if I Want to." If you don' know the song or if you don't want to hear me cry, don't read this and send me to my room to work out the tantrum (from the song you should be able to guess I am too old for a tantrum).

Anyhow, my question to bracket experts which I am not is: As I understand it the first rule a selection group must follow is that it MUST first be about the numbers; with rpi #1, sos #2, coaches and media polls #3 [someone said this is not included, but how can it not, since they see the teams more than most selection members??] and various other statistical numbers. {EXPERTS FEEL FREE TO DISPUTE ANY OF THIS}. Next comes intangibles and I've heard the first intangible is how you are playing NOW [cornell 3 & 3 in last six, UA has not lost since they lost their face off specialist just before playing in the most hostile environment in the country.] Next intangible recent tournament results [uA a respectable showing @ Denver (another extremely difficult place to play] and an overtime goal away from the final floor. Again as I understand it "head to head" intangible should only be used as a tie breaker. So if my selection criteria summary is even remotely close {AND AGAIN FEEL FREE TO CORRECT IF YOU CHOSE}, I ask the committee their real reason for making a bubble team a higher seed than UA.

If they said, that they just don't like Scott Marr or that they are anti-Native American or that they are against Lyle and Jones (from Duke) trying to build the sport by increasing minority participation and trying to change the preppy image of the sport {do they come any more preppy than cornell?}, at least we would know where we stand with them. Don't get me wrong, I am not accusing anyone of anything, just totally confused by their decision. Maybe the selection committee was just incompetent. Anyhow for those who listened and let me cry, THANKS and no offense taken if you care to reply and tell me I am totally OFF BASE. GO DANES and I'll see some of you on the bus to preppy cornell.

No disrespect but I'm not going to read it. As clack said, nothing to do about it now other than smack the $iena out of those punks.

UA players should be fuming.... let's go show them what a real lacrosse team looks like.
