Scott was on Wyland's show today.

Notre Dame likes to shoot early, so we've got to get back on defense. Once we're playing six-on-six we'll be OK.

Figures we'll do all right if we can win 45% of faceoffs. ND is exactly 50% for the year.

Albany has fifteen players with ten or more points. He doesn't think any other team has more than eight. ND has seven.

They've been talking to a couple of Giants coaches about preparing for a game in mile-high air. Not sure when they'll travel out there yet.

BTW I was watching the telecast, and in the third quarter Patsos was in the booth and jokingly (I hope) took credit for inspiring the 'aints' second goal. Too bad he wasn't asked a few minutes later i

"Albany is currently FIFTH in the country in average attendance...." Hmmm, shouldn't all of our lacrosse games against LLC be at Fallon Field since our ave. attendance is 2,446 and theirs is only 479

U Mass is usually pretty good in lax. I wouldn't drop them.

As someone who travels to Denver on a regular basis (family lives there) and skis, hikes, mountain bikes, plays hoops, etc....the altitude thing really will not make a difference from a conditioning perspective. It takes the body about 6 months to truly adjust to the altitude (blood and VO2 max adjustments).

In truth, the key is drinking a ton of water before arriving...and while in Denver. I drink close to a gallon a day the week before...and while in the area. So, if anyone is connected to Scott Marr...pass on that advice.

The biggest issue during a short trip is the stomach. You don't want to eat as much in altitude...and generally speaking your stomach can be a bit off, anything from diarrhea to the "HAFE". HAFE (High-Altitude Flatuous Expulsion) is exactly what it sounds like: YOU PASS A TON OF GAS. It can become quite uncomfortable...but probably not as embarrassing among the guys as it would be n front of family/significant other.

Regardless, both UA and the nd will both have to deal with it.... whatever the effect.

Ahhh, if they can't take a joke, it's their problem. :o

Food for thought for the selection committee............

#5 seed LOST by 5

#6 seed WON by 1 (should have lost)

#7 seed LOST by 12

#8 seed LOST by 9

Albany hosts, the game is late afternoon or evening (after all the youth Lax, soccer, baseball games) we get 6000+ easy. Would have been 50+ from my son's lax team alone!

Albany's Riorden, Queener Keep it 'Fun-First' In and Out of the Goal

Why does Syracuse lacrosse goalie Bobby Wardwell wear sweatpants?

So why do lacrosse goalies wear pants?

"There really is a thing about it actually [being] a save a game," Wardwell said, "not just from the standpoint of you catch a ball off the pants, but also there's not as much to look at with the cage. It kind of takes up a lot of room and just makes shooters think there's not as much space there where they can shoot."
