Well they are in the maac so that goes without saying but it does seem they might be below average even by that low bar

At the start of the game the announcers kept saying how Canisius had 90% of their scoring back from last year, most of the defense, and a great coach; that beat Albany last year and two of the past three. They insisted it would be a close game, in spite of Canisius 1-5 record (with their only win @ bottom dweller Manhattan). It was very shortly obvious that UA would be seeking revenge for last years fluke and taking Canisius to school.

 

The announcers quickly changed to winning the maac was all that was important [as if the maac was something which we know its not]. I hope Enser {spelling?} who made some derogatory remarks about the AmEast while being interviewed @ the tu last week was watching. His conference is a bottom dweller in all sports except bb, and are sinking fast there also.

Canisius is NOT good. They beat us last year 14-10 and we are 1-2 the last 3 years against them. So was hoping for 30, but 26 will do. Lyle could have had 15+ points if he stayed in. Glad he didn't though, he has been getting hacked a lot this season. Great for the young players to get a chance to play and score.
