At this point, Baker needs to start. I actually like Mike Rowley's defense, but someone has to get his confidence up offensively...because he has great footwork.

 

Sanders is unimpressive, as is Singletary. If you are going to run the point at this level you better either be able to bang the mid-range jumper, nail the big three, or drive the rack and dish. He hasn't done that at all.

 

At some point, Hooley has to make a decision on what's best for him. It's clear (and the announcer mentioned it in the first half) his head is back home, and that is beyond understandable. A two week break may be helpful for him. You can't fight everything in this world.

 

Peter's is not ready yet, game-shape wise. I want to see more of Stire.

 

Seriously, enough's enough right now. A leader needs to step up...and if it's a frosh, so be it. I say let Baker earn that leadership role.

Nice by Baker. Really nice by Singletary, who has woken up and taken the reigns.

 

He's no Jamar, but Baker has that same attitude. Just like with Jamar, we have to take the good with the bad (especially on defense)...but his upside is tremendous. He's like Honey Badger; he just don't care.

Hooley's mother has been ill for all years here...I believe. Not sure that's exactly the issue with him. I thought I read somewhere that his mom was actually doing better this year.

Yep, that's what i thought as well. The announcer made some reference that his mother was still sick. Obviously, that's the most important thing for him to deal with right now; basketball is a distant third, if his mum's sick.
