Albany Business Review Reader Survey:

Which is the premiere men's college basketball program in the region right now

72%: UAlbany

16%: LCC

1%: The two are neck and neck

7%: UAlbany is on top now, but Siena will be next year

4%: Don't follow either team

Who did they poll? The most surprising number is that only 4% don't follow either team. That means over 750,000 people follow these teams, but if they played on the same night no more than 10,000 would actually attend.

It's probably one of the polls you have to go to the website to see...Not sure it's scientific, I've seen these types of polls there before.

Do you recall how many responses it had? Usually at the bottom of such web polls it shows a number of how many filled it out. Was it like 100 people or 1,000?

Some of the media still thinking 20 loss LCC is something special and needs to be catered to. Not in my book. Play them home and home or don't play them at all. If you must travel, there are plenty of better teams and places to travel to.

Yeah, not sure how this solves a problem because the GFCC is 4800 seats. If Siena even entertains that concept, their argument about SEFCU being too small is forever gone!

Hammer...meet nail and head. BOOM!

No one is driving to Glenns Falls to see this game...just cancel this thing for a few years and take a look at it in a few years. Maybe they will come to their senses.

Or maybe they will be completely irrelevant by then :)

Only reason they are fun to beat now is their obnoxious and stupid fans. It certainly isn't like beating an up team or even a peer :)

What do you expect from the former "Voice of Siena Basketball" and current "Voice of the MAAC"?

Plus has he forgotten it's just over two years since a drunk Siena student (though not coming from the game) ran a car off the road killing two kids driving back from the Albany Cup game? Now send fans who may have been partying on a 50-mile drive home in the dark.

The whole thing is idiotic...don't even let that guy suggest anything regarding this game again. Dope!
