didn't get to watch the game last night....did they mention or have any update on Charles situation??? I agree, whomever said Cremo will be the go to guy next year is 100% right..it's amazing how quickly he has gotten comfortable.....he is a very smooth player...don't think he is great at anything...but, he is very good at a lot of things...

Didn't hear anything about Charles but I wasn't listening to Zach on the radio. Guess he's still dealing with complications from his Chipotle adventure.

And yeah, that was me about Cremo. I just don't see anyone else on the roster (with Ray, Evan, and Peter graduating) that has the makeup of a guy that you can count on to get you 15-20 points a night and be your offensive leader. Looks like Cremo is going to be thrust into that role unless Brown brings in a JUCO or two to take the pressure off.

Regarding Charles, I think the family and the school are playing it safe as they should. I believe the concern stems from his heart situation several months back with fluid found around the heart. Not sure if there is a Chipotle connection or not at this point but the ticker is no joking matter. He should take every precaution and see every specialist he can. After-all, we could be talking about life and death here if something were to happen. No basketball game is worth that.

I hope he comes back as we really need him but his personal well being is and should be the priority.

This had me thinking about the "What if's?" if Baker had stayed. They would have made quite a scoring duo.

Been saying that all year to the fans in our section. Those two would have been something when Baker would be a Sr and Cremo a Jr. They'd run the AE from the guard position.

The hilarious thing is that Baker had to sit this year (if I'm not mistaken), which means he didn't get to play at all. So it's not like he left for instant playing time (assuming that was his gripe in Albany). IMO, his decision to leave is right up there with Suero's decision to declare for the draft lol. Minneapolis (his home) is still 4.5hrs from ND...although it's not 19hrs like Albany to Minny is...

I think he wanted to be closer to home and family...as much as I think he would have been great I can't begrudge a 19 year old kid for wanting to be closer to family. We'll be OK without him.

Oh I agree, I wasn't arguing that he should have stayed, just pondering at what could have been. Hoping that he does well in North Dakota. As for the team as currently constructed going forward, like many here have said, they have plenty of places to improve, but being 10-4 (really 9-4) after what looked to be a bit of a rocky start isn't half bad.

Don't forget JC recruit BJ Jenkins - he could be the guy!

I need to do some research on him...I remember his being small but fast from looking at this a few months ago. Is he any good?

It might not be a totally fair comparison but here are Evan Singletary's numbers from his last year at Moberly and Jenkins at Neosho:

Singletary:

16 PPG

45% FG

42.5% 3PT

83% FT

3 RPG

5.3 APG

Jenkins:

18 PPG

46% FG

46% 3PT

87% FT

3.5 RPG

5.8 APG

He seems to do all the things you'd want a PG to do. Distribute, shoot from the outside and knock down free throws at a great rate.

I don't think we're going to fall of a cliff next year. As much as Cremo does on the court I think he's just as valuable off. He seems like a guy that's going to be setting the work ethic and team culture at a high level. He just wins.
