Collaboration between Albany Law, UAlbany, City of Albany and City of Schenectady

Got this email, thought it was a nice sign of things to come (perhaps) between our affiliation with Albany Law:

Informatics majors,

attached is a description of a course at Albany Law School that is open to our students. As you can see from the flyer, it is for a prototype multidisciplinary course where teams of students work together on community development efforts with the cities of Albany and Schenectady. Many aspects of these efforts align well with the interests of our students. This is the prototype of the kind of effort we hope to expand on in order to offer event greater learning opportunities to our students, and benefit to our communities.

While primarily geared towards graduate students there are potentially a couple openings for advanced students who can demonstrate the background and interest to effectively participate in this class. Please let me know if you’re interested, and/or have any questions.
