What was up with the ref grabbing Peter after he called Peter for a charge? Peter was going to the bench somewhat upset and the ref chased him down and grabbed him by the hips. Ref should be talking to Brown not grabbing our players.

Same ref had a talk with Stire and a Hartford player in the first minute. Get lost dude.

I think Peter was a little too demonstrative protesting the call. Referees do not care for that.

Perhaps, but ref doesn't need to be grabbing players and twisting them around to face him like a father would to a child. No physicality is necessary.

I don't think that kind of stuff should even be an issue for a ref. Unless Peter said something. If Peter is just walking angrily away, there is nothing for the ref to do or say. Mind your own business, IMO. Players get mad. As long as he's not hitting people or dropping f bombs, just let the player vent. Micromanagement is not the answer IMO. Brown likely would have told Peter to maintain his composure anyway, which is his job...not the refs.

I just thought it was odd and overboard on the refs part. But we all know how I feel about refs hahaha.
