Hall of fame tip off...

"The one exception is the Hall of Fame Tip-Off, which revealed all eight of its participants during the broadcast of this year's championship game between Florida and Purdue. Duke headlines the Naismith Bracket, and the Blue Devils will be joined by Cincinnati, Penn State, and Rhode Island. Those four teams will each host two teams from the Springfield Bracket group: Albany, Brown, Grand Canyon, and Marist. Out of the hosts, this will be the second trip for Penn State and Rhode Island, while Marist and Albany have participated as visitors in previous"

Does that mean we would also play two of Grand Canyon, Marist and Brown at Mohegan Sun? I think that's how it went last time we played in the tournament. Grand Canyon finished 27-7 this year.

Didn't want to side track the the recruiting thread anymore. This is based on what's been posted online so far..and a rough guess at return games when looking at our schedule over the past few years.

HOF Tip-Off:

Duke

Cincinnati

Grand Canyon?

Brown?

Home:

Siena

Marist?

Holy Cross?

St. Francis-Brooklyn?

Cornell?

Away:

NJIT?

Yale?

Assuming Coach Brown is using the HOF Tip-Off as an exempt tournament..I think that leaves up to 4 games remaining.

Why do we rarely play CAA schools in Basketball?

Maybe they don't want to play America East teams because it's an RPI killer most of the time?

Too much travel also? NU, Hofstra, and Delaware are the only schools near by.
