There was 31 regular season games last season including 4 games from the exempt event. And an almost 2 week break between St. Francis and Columbia seems pretty unusual.

Is it? I thought we always had a break like that when most of the students go home for the holidays. I just graduated but if I remember, classes usually let out around 12/10 or so.

The schedule often gets light around finals time. The 15-16 season had a game on 12/12 and then nothing until 12/19. But the 'break' around xmas was a game on 12/23 and then 12/29.

 

This year looks like it has a similar finals break 12/12 to 12/17..but then a large break from 12/17 to 12/30. Looks like there might be room for another game somewhere in there.

This year last day of classes is 12/12 and finals end 12/20, classes resume 1/23. Assuming most students are back in the area for the Maine game on 1/22, that's three home games when the campus will be empty.

Starting to see various banners and such for men's basketball... I love that the football branding with the graphic of the smoke or swirly thingy being used across other sports.

 

Such a nice look, Benson and staff killing it. This is probably the first real significant advertisement push in the history of the program. Will be interesting to see if it translates to buts in seats.

So is there going to be a season this year? We're probably the only school along with NJIT who has yet to release the schedule. Coach said he was looking to finalize one last game with an "NCAA caliber team" so would that be who it is? The two probably can't agree on where to start the home/home.
