Minus the last minute, not much to be upset about. I love the play calling on offense, just need to finish. Defense has played good for the most part. Win or lose, this game gives me optimism for this year after 1 half.

My early assessment: MARKEDLY IMPROVED.

 

Sussman has a nice arm, is only a Soph...and really in 'game years' is only a frosh (this is game 5 as a starter). For the most part, he was poised. I think he has some growing to do but his performance wasn't a thumbs down by any stretch.

 

O-Line still a bit undersized and lacking speed...but should come together.

 

Defense is at a whole new level, notwithstanding the 2 minute drill by UB.

 

Much better pressure from the line...and much better pass coverage. I think the two headed "Nicks" (Dillon and Griffin) are doing a good job eating up the inside. Having Logan at LB gives us a bit more size as well.
