3 year deal, 2-1 is fine. The community needs this game too much to let it die.

SEFCU in 2018

TUC in 2019

SEFCU in 2020

Anything less should be a big fat no.

The community doesn't need this game... They can go pound rocks. Anything but a home and home and you can count me and countless other fans out!

Kick rocks with that argument.

Let's face reality the AD's are face saving. The politicians and chamber of commerce will place blame on someone, likely UAlbany.  The Times Onion will cry ? about the "fans" loss of another sporting event in a manner when a minor league sports franchise leaves town. Yes fairness was never part of this rivalry ... Civility was never part of this rivalry.

LOL

Times useless just trying to hype the building they put their advertising budget into. Can't take anything they say seriously ?

People on this board don't understand sarcasm very well.

Albany is at Kent State on 12/28 and at Niagara on 12/31

Nice . Hopefully Niagara considers 12/31 a holiday and plays  in the day as the isles are at sabres at 6. That would certainly be enough maac teams for me this season ?

Elegant solution: The winning team of this year's game hosts the game the next year.  This year's venue can be the only point of negotiation.

You are welcome.

Wow! Haggy is alive!

Breaking: According to a source, the UAlbany-Siena Albany Cup game will take at least a one year hiatus. The Great Danes' non-conference schedule is complete and the Saints are not on it. Discussion on where game is played has been a hurdle in the past. @WNYT

without knowing any of the details of the negotiations, a big pat on the back to Mark for his willingness to pass on this game/contract until an equitable offer is on the table ... during our early years of DI athletics this game mattered a whole lot more to UA than lcc, the table has turned ... "50-50 or walk" - the UA fan base and now administration have spoken
