And for the record, this is one of the BEST DEFENSES in FBS football.  Hell, I believe the D Line nears 290 across the board.

We should take solace in the fact that:

1- The play calling is insanely improved...like LIGHT YEARS.

2- We had some nerves that lead to the delay of game, the first TD return.

3- Aside from one terrible pass, Vince T looks good

4- Our WRs are so much better than the past.

Absolutely true.  These penalties are just not ok.  A ton of it is due to nerves.   But we need to get over that...quickly.

Announcers hit it on the head.  This game is all  penalties and special teams.

We've outgained Pitt by 70 yards.  Again, little victories in this game.

I honestly wonder if Stark has an injury or the wind is blowing against us.  Starks has been strong on kickoffs; looks so weak today.

Take away the first 5 minutes of that 1st qtr (sure, you can't) but...we look a bit better.
