All I can really say is... This doesn't reflect well on the MAAC at all.

I'm not sure I can get on board w/ the "we had to pick players off the scrap pile" as a reason for what's happening.  We started the season w/ 3 guys that would have been starting w/ or w/o Cremo and

Better half than I expected but UML missed alot of shots, had a bunch of charges, etc.  This one is not a win by a longshot.  We cool off shooting,  we are done.

I do agree with this. While I love giving young guys opportunities...there has to be a balance. I don't know if ANY of our guys (even Iati) is full-time HC material yet...we need someone like that as the primary backup to Brown.

Gonna go out on a limb fellas.   The entire coaching staff is former players at UA and played for CB.  Is it possible that we could use coaches from different programs and coaches to give a different prospective to practice, recruiting, play calling, and maybe tell CB something different than what he has heard for 18 years?  I know Coach K has some former players on staff usually but Duke is not UA.  Thoughts?

I do think losing Chad Odonnell hurt the program's recruiting a bit.

My point exactly of of getting too comfortable. Who’s there to really give a different opinion to coach. There’s no comparison with Duke and Albany programs.

Bad team. But the young excuse can no longer be used. WHY?

Because we were beaten by double digits by a team starting 2 freshman, 1 sophomore,  and a jr. Also a freshman on the bench averaging over 10 a game.

We need another roster overhaul of at least 2-3 guys over the 2 that are graduating.

We knew we would be bad. But we are really really bad.

Wouldn't be surprised if some guys like Brooks, etc. get replaced or leave on their own accord due to not getting playing time.

We'll have around 4 new guys next year me thinks.

I'm not sure I can get on board w/ the "we had to pick players off the scrap pile" as a reason for what's happening.  We started the season w/ 3 guys that would have been starting w/ or w/o Cremo and Nichols.  Clark has basically stepped in as Nichols?  So Healy had to replace Cremo and we'd need to live w/ a depleted bench.  Well, outside of a few games, our bigs (including Campbell as a starting small forward to start the season) just aren't very good.  And don't give me Lulka's numbers.  I watch the games.  He's not very good.  He's played a lot of ball and even redshirted so I'm not sure how much he will improve.  Campbell is Campbell.  And Hanks???  He was a projected starter from the start right?  Unless we went small.

So yes, recruiting doesn't seem to be there lately.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't think athletic players want to play the style of ball that we play.  Obviously the style gets a pass when we are winning but it's not exciting to watch or play in my opinion.

So no this isn't a "fire WB" statement but it is a WB doesn't get a pass just because he lost Cremo and Nichols.  Recruiting isn't up to par and this performance is awful.  Did I expect a down year?  Of course.  But this is a terrible conference that UA with it's reputation should not finish below 5th place, ever.

This is a fair post, except for Lulka.  I do not think is he bad. I think he is young and learning. Sam Rowley stunk his freshman year. And I don't care about redshirt years. Different than playing games on the court. Definitely looks like some big misses on the recruiting trail at this point though. Only time will tell.  I just don't think Brown would say stuff like, "I think we are going to be REALLY good" if he thought his roster sucked. I know, what's he going to say? Well, not that they are going to be REALLY good. I would think he would say something like, we have to fight to get better with a young squad blah blah...

We seemed to be at our best with Pat Filien and Chad O'Donnell.

But seriously, time to let the head trainer go. All staff on the hot seat! (lol)

This team is 3 d1 kids... This roster is an absolute disaster young or not. I don't know how you run half the roster off but it needs to happen.

Lulka Clark and Healey are the only ones worth anything on this team. Rest of roster absolute trash. Including highly touted rizzuto and de Sousa. This is by far worse then expected this isn't a rebuild... This is an absolute dumpster fire.

There is no future for this team as constituted... Need a complete overhaul. None of them... Not a single one can play a lick of defense. This program is an emberassment, just got worked by a really young team to the tune of 50 second half points. And none of them show any fire or outrage. Disgusting....
