Rizzuto needs to shoot 10000 or more three pointers before next year. If he is going to contribute to this team it will be the 3 pointer . He is not a rebounder, passer, or a person who can break you down off the dribble.

He needs to shoot 40 percent from 3 and give us 10 to 15 minutes next year . If he cant do that then he should either sit the bench or transfer (wont transfer since a coach is his cousin.)

Like many other teams, SB has an inside game; they have a number of people who can handle the ball and score; and I hate to state the obvious, but  guys like Rizzuto are not Div. I players. We are not getting recruits that match other teams - that is pretty disappointing especially when the Stony Brook coach is very new.

Brown needs to find a productive back to the basket big and a wing to displace both rizzuto and DeSousa.

These two will be marginal fringe rotation players going forward and he will absolute recruit over them. This is what they are... Shocking considering the hype they came with and how many legit programs wanted both. Both are borderline d1 players.

Brutal in the biggest game of the year its like these two were even playing basketball.

I'm not ready to write them both off just yet.  Yes ,they both played very poorly but I do think that both can at least be rotation players. O'Dell at 6'6 would be in my opinion a good recruit to get and would push De Sousa immediately.

Also can someone tell me what happened to Doherty. He was suppose to be a good player with an immediate impact.  To me he looks slow and confused . Plus at 6'7 is really cant play center. I hope he really improves because right now I dont see him as even a rotational player next year.

We can beat the bottom half of the conference with Clark, Cam and Hutch carrying the offense. Against the top half of the conference, we're going to need more from more guys. I thought that after the UNH and Maine game and it's still true.

Us shooting 27% from three and SB shooting 50% from three isn't going to help us.

I like the small lineup sometimes, but not in this game. That may be something we'll have to rethink down the road.

On the bright side, I thought Lulka looked more like he did his freshman year.

As poorly as we shot the ball tonight, we win on Wednesday and we're still tied for the conference lead. Plus, we finally have some home games.

de Sousa upsets me the most.  He played close to my home and I knew some people who attended some of his games and they RAVED about him.  He was selected to the All NEPSAC Team as a senior which is a solid accomplishment.  I REALLY thought he was going to be a player.  He has shown flashes the past two years but just cannot put it all together and even his blocked shots are down from last year.  I really hope he can figure this out and become a contributor.

Wow.  I can't take the bipolar "fandumb" any longer. First of all.  "Click" off the television if you can't bare watching these kids play their heart out for one another. "Clack" back in 2 years once this group is gone and has won an AE title or 2.  You guys have no clue the work these kids put in and sacrifice on a daily basis. Rizzuto & de Sousa both chose Albany over higher level schools and have contributed to this program tremendously. Do we win without Rizzuto last game against UNH?  Do we win at Columbia without de Sousa?  All of these student athletes should be given a chance to develop and some should hold off on burying their careers game by game.  IDC what you donate or how long you have been a fan.  The real purple family is just that; A Family! Family has your back through thick and thin!

Malachi Rizzuto...is that you? lol. AE title...or two? Marijuana must be legal in your state cause you be smokin the good stuff. The only way this team wins a title is if both Rizzuto and DeSousa do a complete 180 and revert to the players they were in the 2nd half of last year. This team is not winning a title with Healey and Clark carrying 95% of the load (remember Cremo and Nichols, same deal). We now have 19 games of empirical evidence an analytics that proves they are what they are...borderline bench warmers.

Way to list out 1 play (from 19 games) where they shined...what's the saying? A broken clock is right twice a day? They are on the court. They are bound to make a play...but that's the problem. We don't need 'a play'...we need 'plays'.

As for fandom...welcome to college athletics. Can't stand the heat (criticism)? Get outa the kitchen!

Glad I didn't find time to watch this game.

I've been here for 15 years and will be here God willing for another 30...apparently in your family it's just blowing smoke up everyone's ass...no matter how much you try to sugar coat it, the truth is closer to what I and others have observed and not your rosy view of things. It's hard to watch. I wish it wasn't so.

As for what I donate... You don't get to be top 150 booster without putting a little bit of money up. That doesn't necessarily give me a free check to run in on these guys... Im just being honest with what I see. Look at a kid like Hutch... See and feel the difference.

They stink... Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

They aren't green freshman any more, they look completely lost, neither one can shoot worth a lick. It's all there for people to see. Much was expected out of both and they haven't delivered at all. Once in a great while every 10 games they will have a good 3 minutes. Staying quiet about it may not hurt feelings but you lying to yourself won't help either.

I would be all for the 'patience' speeches but we're about to play game number 20. There is what, 9-10 games left? We're not in the first month of the season. These guys have nearly played 2 full years. They are what they are. Most have regressed majorly, which is shocking.

Neither rizzuto nor DeSousa have regressed.. You have to progress to regress. DeSousa had a good end of season stretch but rizzuto has been a mess his entire career.

Must of missed the part about me not caring how long you guys have been a fan.  I've been a fan long enough to know there's more to contributing than just PPG.  I'm sure if coach Brown felt the same as some of you, there'd only be 2 players worthy of being on the court at all times. I'm not going to say anything negative about any of these young men but there isn't a player on the team who hasn't had a bad game win or lose.  Just because I have never posted until tonight doesn't mean Idk anything about UAMBB. NONE of these kids are getting paid and the fact that you so called fans curse their names as if they were is ridiculous. Continue to hide behind your phones and talk crap, and I'll continue to pay $5 per month to watch them play on tv when I cant make a game.  Not look at a box score to determine who had a good game or not.  Not sure who coined the phrase but I do believe that "Defense Wins Championships "!
