CW, I got to agree with Eli and others here. While I am glad you enjoy instagram; you should be more specific with your references please. I do not do Facebook or instagram or tweet. Did not even know what instagram was. I asked my wife and she said it was basically tweeting with pictures. Like tweeting, limited text and hence not much substance there. Of course, I could be totally wrong; like I say I'm a non-user and novice at best. But I will say this, because I respect your input on this blog, I have tried to follow your links; but have been totally unable to find anything. Perhaps summarize things you find interesting or important on instagram; then those with instagram can follow it further if they want to, and those of us without access could at least share partially in your discovery.

Tough way to start conference, UMBC was picked second in the conference and have played a handful of games while we've played zip. Then it's off to preseason #1 Vermont.

I subscribe to Instagram for variety of interests...including sports (ex. MLB, America East, Inside Lacrosse, UAlbany Sports, NCAA), history, breweries, places that I love to visit, locally owned shops and businesses that need our support...even the Hudson-Helderberg Rail Trail has an Instagram account....just did not know one could confuse that easily a number of UAlbany graduates....Further, I do not understand why I have to lead people to a conclusion...follow the link or not ... does not matter to me... This sad after seeing some of things posted here in the past....by some of the same people

Because you can’t follow the link unless you join. Not confused, just FB and IG aren’t as universal as some people think. 
When I post a TU story I use the email link so non-subscribers can read it.  Why should I have to give ANOTHER platform  my email so they can send me more crap? 
And it’s not an age thing, my daughter doesn’t use FB/ IG either

....do not use Facebook either....as I explained some of identities that I associate with use Instagram...helps with the updates and during the COVID-19 and staying close to home...nice to see what is happening with different views...

Also, a general link to the Instagram page does nothing for me. I can go there to look if I want. I can see if you link to a specific post, or a specific item, but what is the point of saying: hey look here for info... go to their Instagram site...it means nothing.  Oh BTW, here is a link to their Twitter feed. Lmao

No one is saying don't post Instagram links. They are saying don't post the main link to a page and not give any context. Post the direct link to the Instagram post in question. Please. Otherwise we have no idea what you're trying to share with the group. 

It's not hard. Sheesh.
