I am actually not surprised there is no mention of the transfers.  Big lineman, RB, and FAST WR who came in. No need to let the competition know if they are doing well in practice and learning the system.

Eh, after getting past the paywall, it sounds like a lot of "it's their fault, not mine". Everyone has their side of the story. Hard to believe considering his past (he quit the first time because he didn't get playing time - that's just goofy). And the family concerns excuse is a cop out. I'm sure a lot of his fellow teammates have issues back home just like all of us do at one point or another in life but they aren't using it as an excuse for why they are acting out or why their head isn't in the game.

Wish him the best of luck and hope he learns how to talk to bosses and figures of authority in the future because his livelihood as an adult depends on it. What did he expect was going to happen? If I talked back to my boss in front of my entire team, I'd probably be looking for a new job too.
