Well over 25% of all college basketball players are now in the transfer portal. I wonder if the NCAA should just starting assuming everyone is transferring and create a "staying portal for those guys

In 2020 - 4 kids transferred out in 2019 - 2 kids transferred out in 2018 - 4 kids left, granted 2 were grad transfers in 2017 - 4 kids transferred out   on and on and on, ros

Why? No one seemed to care when Albany lost a quarter of the roster every single year. So now we're worried? I've been beating the lack of recruiting, lack of development and excessive transfers out o

Plenty of D2 and D3 kids can play at this level (same with JUCO and NAIA) that were overlooked.  If I had to guess, this is a Rizzuto type replacement. Same size-ish.  He comes from a tough as nails hoop program in the Philly area, Archbishop Wood.

Solid D-2 player, averaging 16.5 per game and 4.5 boards.  Seems a bit sloppy with the ball (negative A/TO margin) however, we don't know if that was the product of the offense or just poor decision making.

I'd say the only real negative is that Lock Haven is not traditionally great at hoops...mid-bottom of the PSAC.  However, the competition is pretty solid...the PSAC usually has a couple of teams in the D2 Top 25.

For those wondering, there was a IG photo posted. Doles, Kelly, Horton, Champion, Hutcheson, Schaffer, and Kondrat all participating what looks like a practice.

Cool. Think that is what maybe I saw on Twitter as well.  That’s an excellent core.  The new signee is a sniper, a good fit to see some minutes and open up the floor.

So far 2 underwhelming commitments. Was really hoping (wishful thinking) for a couple of big splashes.  So far more like drops in an ocean.

Hopefully will pick it up soon.

Just remember, hope springs eternal...I think some people are hoping for big surf...those waves that surfers dream of... let us keep our fingers crossed

CJ Kelly going to UMass according to Knott's instagram account. He is training him it looks like.

If this is confirmed than Albany today is a far worse and less talented as a team then they were at end of this season and that team was a loser...lol. Let's face it, the two recruits announced so far are role players, lost Healy for sure + Rizzuto and Kelley at minimum right now. The talent drop-off right now is pretty steep. Lost of ships left to fill but next season is looking rough at this moment in time subject to change depending on who else commits.

Agree. Some also have to realize there were no guarantees that these guys would have been back if the previous coaching staff was returned either.
