Nice win last night. Hahne was really good and it was good to see Koi Sims play so well off the bench. A couple of unimportant observations: the Bing. lady who picked up the technical foul against Lucia is a transfer from Arizona. Also, our PA announcer pronounced Lilly Phillips hometown correctly. Took him 3 months but he finally got it.

More importantly, Coach Mullen needs 2 wins in 3 games for a 20 win season. Next up is a N.H. team that almost knocked off Vermont last night, 61-58. Then Maine and S.B. Important that we beat Maine, for standings placement and because we’re just 1-3 vs. the other top tier teams. Will root for NJIT to upset Maine on Sat.

Sounds good! If they both do return, along with everyone else, the current roster of 13 will remain the same. That’s a good thing, considering this year’s success, although it’s rare these days to not have players leave. Is the roster limit 15? If it is, Coach Mullen’s recruiting could be limited but very selective as far as team needs.

Likely Coach Mullins will be looking for two forwards or a center and a forward....plenty of guards for the next three years

Thanks for the confirmation on the roster, and I agree on next year’s needs. Lucia helps our team, no doubt, but a center who could put the ball in the basket more consistently would help. Maybe I’m nit-picking here. Of our front court players off the bench, other than Werth, Koi Sims seems to have the most promise scoring wise.

2:00 today——Maine @ NJIT. Smelling upset?

1/2 game behind Maine, 1 behind in the loss column. Maine holds the tiebreaker (their win over UVM) even if we beat them and Stony Brook. 1-game lead over UVM. Only hope for the top seed is if Maine loses one of two vs. UMBC next weekend - both games are at Maine.
