It was nice seeing some of Perry's shots fall tonight. Trey has been more than solid all season. He's a real tough, hard nosed player and I'm glad to see him succeeding so far after last year's ups and downs.

 

Agreed with the consensus that there really aren't many guys on the team that you can rely on for their shooting, but until they got gassed tonight, the defense has mostly been really strong. I like that they're throwing out a lot of different schemes. They've forced a ton of turnovers through this first bunch of games. I think, and maybe it is wishful thinking, that the shots will start falling by conference play and if they don't, the defense should grind down some of the bottom half teams

We beat the point spread! The question remains: when will we win our 1st game? Will we be winless when conference play starts? What exactly are our expectations for AE? Right now 8-8 seems unlikely. We will see in March.

Next up is Eastern Illinois they are absolutely dreadful. Will be a game of winless teams. BTW, EKU who we just played tough beat their ass by close to 40 tonight (39)...gotta hope we find a way.

EIU also has a first-year coach, they have a win against D-III Rockford. They've lost to Central Mich. by 1, to Northwestern by 24, and St Louis by 42

Totally forgot the game was tonight....watching NYG and TBB. Oh well....0-5. An expected result.

Even with "expected result" still a fun place to watch the game and they have the Giants on TV here as well. Watching second half of that one 😂

BTW, shout out to Hutch...this kid is having a really nice season. Big improvement by him after a tough year last year. Hitting 3's hitting FT's, very high efficiency, hustles all the time, makes the right plays a lot.
