And anyone thinking Killings is ready for UMASS (as some have stated elsewhere), this is a game that shows he is NOT ready for that kind of jump yet.  Absolutely ZERO adjustments with this team in the first half...ZERO!  I still like him as a coach...but he is not doing much this half to bring his team up to a level it needs to be.

is it the opinion of the board he is a one and done coach?

13 points in the first half against a conference opponent is COACHING. Nothing but COACHING. And we would be crazy not to be worried about that.

No it's not....look who they are running out there. It's a miracle this team isn't dead last...when this team that lacks talent is winning...DK can coach...when they aren't...DK forgets how to coach?

Nah man, on this one I can flat out tell you as a former player and coach...Killings and staff have maybe run five sets the whole half.  It's literally one on one ball.  That's coaching, and you know I am high on killings.  Gallagher made some adjustments that were palpable...then Hartford hit shots.  One has some impact on the other, but not full impact.

Point is, even with what he is running out on the floor...he can make adjustments to the offense.  He hasn't, FULL STOP.  Do we have top tier talent, honestly NO.  But...13 points in a D1 game is pitiful.  Some of it is on the players and some of it is on coaching.

The game is not over.... perhaps Dwayne has inspirational half time speech for the moment ..... keeping fingers crossed ..... other thought how many of Dwayne's assistants have decided they have has seen enough .... been through enough.....

The above is a complete lack of basketball knowledge . No offense . Not even a little . D1 teams run sets . Sets- are plays, or rotations . This is not happening.  I agree the players are not very good but the lack of sets is astounding. No adjustments.  No timeouts to correct it.  I stand by my post of poor coaching.

17% from the field...17%...they can run all the sets they want ...the talent isn't there. They've played above heir capabilities for a while but not nearly enough shooting, nothing inside, one kid can get into the teeth of the defense.

So how did they score 65 plus against UNH, Binghamton, Maine, Hartford, Stony Brook, UMBC, and NJIT?
