My last words on the NCAA First Round .... what happened to Georgetown .... Delaware becomes an example of a program that has clawed its way back.... lastly Rutgers .... a transfer portal dominated team ..... how long will it last .....Vermont will have a few holes to fill

One of my buddies who I grew up with is a Rutgers grad. We talk several times per week.  He commented early on about all of the SENIOR and grad transfers they had.  May not holdup next year.  They got absolutely hammered by Maryland during the season though. Are we looking at a rematch?

Ivy Conference vs BIG Ten and Ivy Conference vs Big Ten ..... the potential outsider Delaware just did not have enough gas at the end .... nice to see Cornell in the semi final .... lastly UAlbany played 2 of the final four

Side note: Union plays Liberty League rival Rochester Tech for the Division III national championship Sunday at Rentschler Stadium in Hartford. RIT has beaten the Dutchmen 20 times in a row, but everyone knows it’s tough to beat a team 21 times in a row.

Or is it?......RIT has won 59 matches while losing 3 over last 4 years .... Go Tigers!!!.... Their one loss in 2022 was to Rensselaer......

unfortunately not well in either match.

Actually vs Cornell, UA played them even the first half 6-8. Unfortunately 2-8 in second. Maryland no contest throughout; and of course that was pretty much the case for everyone this year. Princeton did give them a good battle last night.

Quite an excellent championship game today. Cornell took it in the chin early and was down heavy at the half. The Terps came out strong in the second half, but Cornell scrapped and fought, holding the Maryland attack scoreless for the last 26 minutes! Still, Big Red only managed to close to 9-7, which was the final score. The low score was a testament to some seriously strong defense, scrapping on every ground ball and a lights out performance by the UM goalie. Very entertaining.
