mbb 2022 Game #14: 12/20/22 - 2PM at Norther Illinois

When was the last time Reddish scored? I’m probably wrong, but seems to be averaging 2-3 per game for the last several, including a zero or two?

Funny listening to these commentators talk about our team. Pointing out the good things that they are doing saying "that's how you win games". These are all things the team hasnt been doing so far this season.

Yes, we win! We now have 3 wins vs. D-1 teams. I find it either funny or sad when our W-L record is shown on the TV screen as having 4 wins, now 5. False advertising. Oh well, on to Virginia, and then what really matters—AE play. BTW, did anyone else hear one of the announcers say, with about a minute to go in the game, “Beagle might not stay 4 years at U-Albany?” Apparently people other than UA fans are sensing this.

I think we all know that this is the reality of modern Mid-Major basketball. My hope is to get 2 more years of all-conference type play from him then wish him well as he plays for an ACC team preparing for the NBA draft in his senior year. Hopefully in the first two years of the renovated SEFCU he can play in the tournament with UA before preparing for his future.

While I agree with you on the non D1 wins, you can say that about pretty much all teams then as they all do it. The all mighty UMASS Lowell is not 11-2, but 9-2.

Onward to our last Money and OOC game ... then four conference games which could give us all the insight we need about where we will fit in the America East .... New Hampshire, UMBC, UMass-Lowell, Bryant ,,,, teams that have had better OOC experiences than UAlbany ... if we go 2-2 ...  hopes will raise ... 0-4 well hopes will fade away

A win is a win is a win...good job. So the three D1 wins are against the worst team in the NEC, the worst team in the MAC and the next to worst team in the Big South. They’ve still got a chance to compete in the AE, but the proof will be in the pudding.
