No mention of Albany athletics at www.albany.org

This type of thing irks me. Why are we not included in Albany's spectator sports section of the official Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau offical website???????

I may write the website and ask why this is the case. Someone is dropping the ball.

There ARE links to UAlbany football and basketball thru the Events Calendar, but you have to dig for them; you're right, there's no mention on the front page of 'Albany's Own Spectator Sports'

I think it is embarassing that we are noT listed on this site on the "Front page" of Spectator sports, while the clowns at Siena are.

how is that the fault of the school? that web site clearly doesn't represent albany. they don't even have all the schools in albany listed. st. rose isn't listed either, or rpi. who the hell goes to that site? i wouldn't care if i wasn't listed there either. if you need to draw fans from a convention center web site, you've got bigger problems totake care of.

Out-of-town visitors. This site is probably in the packet that arriving conventioneers get telling them about things to do.

 

We don't 'need' to draw fans from here, it's just a missed opportunity.
