I know the Sagarin (and all) rankings include a lot more factors than the win-loss record, but it's kind of disappointing to see our 2-2 men's team ranked at 282. Well behind 1-7 Duquesne (269), 0-4 Valparaiso (228), 0-5 BYU (202), 1-4 UC Santa Barbara (141), etc.

 

We are a team full of talent and a variety of offensive and defensive weapons. We need to beat teams that we should (Wagner) while winning against a good amount of teams that are ranked higher but within our grasp talent and skill wise (Lehigh).

 

It also kinda stinks that when we get a good win, it happens to be against a team that seems to have forgotten how to play (although it is pretty cool to see Siena at a lowly 0-6..lol).

 

A hopeful win against Army tonight obviously won't help out a ton with our rankings, as they are a team who have only beaten a DIII team, but hopefully a win against Long Island will help out. It should also do a lot for confidence for the team after 2 loses in a row, and should gain us a few more fans in the Capital District area since it will be home (if at St. Rose) and while Siena can't seem to even beat an egg.
