2004-05

From afar as an alumni/fan who has attended only 2 games in 2 years. Learning late in the season that games were internet available was a great addition to a routine existence.

The improvement from the prior year was remarkable, yet I thought we were more talented and had greater expectations for this season. Having seen him once, but having seen many such 'athletes', I hate to say it, but I think KZoellner is just big and little more. There have always been giants, projects with little talent. Boston College does not part with a 7-foot genuine athlete. Again, I get this only from the flow of the game I can hear on the air and perhaps I am altogether wrong.

My other observation comes from personal athletic experience. The Danes have fallen behind too often, very often on the road. Scapping back late is a great quality, but the energy required to do so often leaves you just a few strokes behind. The second Binghamton game seemed the most true example. We did not seem prepared and by the time the coach and team refigured the lead was insurmountable.

I look forward to next season. Being pre-season favorite, if that is the case, will be something that none of us could have ever considered just a couple of years ago.

And following the 21 point win over Siena - who really cares about anything else.

Peace and safety to all. 2004-5 has been a great ride.
