Interesting recruit tidbit..

One of the frosh recruits for our football team this year, CB Anthony Rogers from Brockport, NY, apparently was also a very good basketball player in HS. He was recognized by the Rochester newspaper (Democrat & Chronicle) for basketball, not football. He played guard, scoring 16.3ppg (lead team), 7.4 rpg, 4.8 apg (lead team) in his senior year, leading his team to a 13-6 record and picking up a Monore County All-Star selection. He was also a big steal threat totaling 192 in his varsity career (a school record). He also recorded a quadruple double with 18 pts., 10 assists, 11 boards, and 11 steals during his senior year.

 

I guess we're in a good situtation with our basketball team where we don't need to look at potential walk-ons like this anymore!
