VESTAL, N.Y. - Bill Herrion’s been about straight talk since the day he took over as the University of New Hampshire basketball coach nine months ago. He didn’t change that Sunday.

His Wildcats were overmatched by top-seeded Albany in the semifinals of the America East tournament at Binghamton University. The final was 67-54, and looked nothing like the two regular-season meetings between the two teams - both UNH wins in overtime.

"We got beat by a much better basketball team today," Herrion said. "They had a lot to do with how we played."

Classy comments from a veteran coach - no wonder they had a turn around year at UNH
