BLUE RIBBON ANALYSIS

BACKCOURT: A

BENCH/DEPTH: A

FRONTCOURT: B

INTANGIBLES: A

Brown has built the Albany program from the bottom up and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Wilson is an overwhelming favorite to repeat as America East Player of the Year and will make life much easier for everyone around him. Ross and Knight should also offset some of the losses Albany suffered to graduation.

The Great Danes do have some questions up front, but Brown has stocked his bench with quality players such as Gifford, Connelly and Covington.

If they step forward, Albany will be in great shape. If they don't, the Great Danes will probably still be in the hunt for the league title.

Wilson is driven to go out on top at Albany -- both as the leading scorer and as a player who left a winning legacy.

In a one-bid league, an NCAA berth often comes down to which team has the best player. In the America East this year, that team is definitely Albany.
