UA recruits from Hoopscoop

This is probably the most ink we have gotten in a single poopscoop article.......

We also understand that Albany now has three players in the fold in 6'10 Jake Lindors from Addison (Driscoll Catholic) IL, 6'4 Logan Aronhalt from Zanesville (H.S.) OH, and 6'1 Anthony Raffa from Winchendon (School) MA. Raffa actually signed with the Great Danes a year ago when he led the state in scoring with 32.4 ppg. He also led Wildwood (Catholic) NJ to the state finals in their classification a year ago and is expected to be the starting point guard at Winchendon this coming season. Aronholt, who is ranked #493 nationally in the senior class by the HOOP SCOOP and is a coach's son (his father is his high school coach at Zanesville), is a power guard with the ability to score at the rim or from beyond the arc. Aronholt has had offers from Duquesne, Bowling Green, Air Force, Bucknell, Holy Cross, and Vermont. Lindfors blew up this summer at the Super Showcase and the 17-Under AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL. Thus, explains why Lindfors is one of the fastest rising big men in the country and, as a result, it a good thing that the Great Danes got this skilled big man who is a true inside/outside guy done early, as schools like DePaul, Northwestern, Illinois State, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Western Illinois, Eastern Illinois, and Eastern Kentucky were all showing a lot of interest

I guess we can consider our 2008 class as solid as long as they all stick with their verbals.

It is also nice that this class is spread out at three different positions PG, Off Guard/Wing and PF/Center
