I guess Joe Dyson is going to be OK as he played well against Rivals 12th ranked player in the class of 2005.

dyson played very well agaisnt boateng..even though he only had 4 points he played tough D the whole game..he had to sit most of the second half because he was in foul trouble but he played very smart with fouls..Dyson had a couple steals and nice rebounds and contested every shot that he threw up..i congratulate joe on a awesome game!

On the recruiting front, a bevy of heavy hitters have paid visits to Boateng at St. Andrews. The list includes: Duke, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Villanova, North Carolina State, Michigan, UCLA, Kansas, Illinois, St. Joseph's, Notre Dame, Penn State, Georgetown, Boston College, Virginia, Xavier, Clemson, and West Virginia.

He has been on campus at Villanova, Georgetown, Duke, North Carolina, and Boston College. Coach Rue told us that Eric has not begun to pare down his list, and probably wouldn't until the end of the season.

Last season Boateng averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game. He's a good student and a serious hard worker in the class room. Look for Boateng this summer to travel with coach Duane Coverdale's Delaware Sharpshooters on the AAU circuit.- Hoopmasters

Bio Notes: Orginally from London, this big man can put it on the floor and can shoot the three. He'll be used as a center at St. Andrews but he can do a lot in the offense. A big time prospect. - Rivals
