  1. Alot of JUCO coaches don't let kid's sign until the late signing period. Perry played in one of the best JUCO leagues in the country and hit a ton of threes. From what I've read and heard he had several other DI offers. Four or five?

I don't think the coaches would have signed a JUCO guard if they did not plan on playing him alot! The kid is a specialist from 3!

  2. Easy! Came in last place in the AE last year. Vermont has everybody back, BU has it's core back, Maine has everybody back plus a UNLV transfer, NU has Barea and Barnes plus a LaSalle transfer, Bing has four of five starters back.

The league will be very good next year. The Danes will be much improved. Let's see what happens.

I am hoping for 14-15 wins this year and to win the AE the following year!

  3. The team won five games this past year with the five guy's that started. The program finally has alot more talent and depth and now you are concerned about individuals playing time?? This is DI basketball. It is competitive and cut throat. It is about winning and having a positive experience. I think all the kid's like Albany and like Coach Brown. Now they just need to win.

From all that I have gathered is that Coach Brown loves Iati so I don't think Iati will struggle with minutes. He played 40 mpg this past year. He'll probably play 28-30 next year and be even more effective.

Levine is a complimentary player. He is not a go to guy! He is a good 4th option.

All I know is that Wilson, Jordan, and Zoellner will get most of the offensive touches. Iati would be next and then Levine. So I guess Levine will be a 5th option. Now thats pretty good 5th option. Iati's job will be to run the offense and make open shots.

Levie will probably average 8-10 ppg on this team and be a good solid player.

St. Hillaire and Wyatt will bring athleticism! I really like St. Hillaire!

JUCO Brandon Perry is suppose to be a big time 3 pt. shooter!

The four freshman will have to earn time! I am sure one or two will play but it will be tough for all four to play!

Knotts will have a front row season ticket on the bench and Johnson will struggle to play. He probably will be a defensive specialist and play a little off the bench.

After watching this team struggle to score we can't have enough scorers on the roster! I for one am excited about the possibilities of this team!

  4. Should be real interesting because all 5 starters return from this years team. If Brown starts

Wilson, Perry, Jordan , Dyson, and Zoellner that would be 5 new starters. From what I hear Perry will be the teams best 3 pt. shooter and best perimeter defender. He played in a big time JUCO league and scored alot of pts. and hit alot of 3's. Hit 13 in one game as a frosh.

  5. Anybody have any guesses???

I think Jamar, Jordan, and Zoellner are locks to start.

I think Dyson will start at power forward.

I think either Iati or Brandon Perry will start. If Perry starts then Wilson runs the point.

    Off the bench

    Either Iati or Perry

    Levine

    St. Hillaire

    Wyatt

    Lillis

    Brent Wilson

    Bauman

    Courtney Johnson

    KNotts

Somebody told me that Brown loves Lillis because he is 6'5 200 and can play pg, shooting guard, or small forward!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. LaSalle probably mentioned his recruiting ability because he is from Philly and LaSalle is from Philly. I think he recruited alot of Philly kids to Coppin State.

Coach Mike Spisto did most of the work with the big men this past season. Yes Mike Spisto.

Stewart seemed to be a really good guy but I know that DRiscoll and Spisto were Browns two top guy's.

  7. We don't know what's up with Hughes! EVery coach in America makes mistakes. Boston College had 3 kid's leave on Friday! Kid's transfer all of the time. Coaches also misevaluate on kid's.

Brown brought in the past Two AE ROY's, All rookie Levine, All MAAC Jordan, BC Transfer Zoellner, VEry good walk-ons in St. Hillaire and jordan, JUCO Perry from a big time Juco league and signed 4 freshman!

Banks and Martin didn't give themselves time to develop! Freshman usually sit at most programs for a year or two!

Brown has brought some excitement for next year! People are excited and can't wait! Nobody said he's the saviour but the program is heading in the right direction!
