Fordham Football

Hey I'm a hoop fanatic can some of you football fanatics give me (us) a view of the important matchups with Fordham and possibly some opinions about the outcome.

Comments on the Fordham board say their receivers were unimpressive, the QB inexperienced and was chosen for his running, their D-line couldn't stop the run. Rhody option attack ran over 350 yards on 82 rushes (only tried 7 passes).

 

Danes need a little pass rush, and need to protect - 6'4" 290 DL Aki Jones was suspended for the URI game, will be back. If Albany's DBs can get any kind of coverage, this game should be a lot closer than last week. If FU's receivers are five yards clear every play, it'll be another long night.

This should help our plight greatly. If they don't throw they won't complete passes and if they do throw they are choosing to go away from what they percieve as their strength.

 

Hopefully if we contain and find some offense we could be in this game for a while.

Screw being in it for a while....we need to WIN! It may seem like lofty expectations but we need to put this game in the win column. Just being competitive is not the answer.

 

I don't care how good it looked that SBU only trailed 3-0 at the half or had a respectable loss to Lehigh, a loss is a loss. They are 0-1 just like we are! We have some good athletes and its up to our staff to keep us in a position to win Saturday!!!
